Nagayama Norio Sensei (aka Shimiya - Palace of the FourHorses) was born in 1956 in Ibaraki, Japan.
He graduated in 1980 in Daito Bunka University of Tokyo, he is an examining member of the Nihon Kyoiku Shodo Renmei /Japan Educational Calligraphy Federation (J.E.C.F).
He is also a Board member of the Nihon Shodo Bijutsukan - the Japanese Shodo Museum and he's Chairman of the Eastern Callygraphy School of Bukushin.
He lives and teaches in Italy.
