The retro-style badges were composed in GIMP and they're all bitmap.
We also used bitmap fonts with figlet and badger
(https://github.com/ManufacturaInd/badger) to compose the "Powered by GNU".
At the time we didn't know the badge was going to be translated into
multiple languages so we didn't make full documentation on how to
reproduce the text in the badges.
We'll try to take the time to write some instructions -- so you and
other can remake it in translations -- during this weekend.
Or... maybe we'll transform the bitmap font into a vectorial font so you
can do it in Inkscape.
I'll let you know as soon as we figure this out!
