Après, personnellement, je suis toujours un peu chagrinée quand je vois des initiatives sectorisées par handicap, en dehors des distros pour gens "normaux" ou "valides". Je suppose que c'est une nécessité parfois pour avancer de façon pragmatique et efficace quand les distributions mainstream ne font pas d'efforts suffisants. Mais c'est très clairement un aveu d'échec et l'objectif du groupe tel que je l'avais proposé à sa création est justement d'éviter cela en sensibilisant pour une prise en compte en amont dans tous les projets.

Ceci dit, une veille est intéressante pour voir ce qu'on peut en tirer...

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that CDAC, Mumbai has released three
GNU/Linux distributions specific to three different kinds of
disabilities namely:

1. GNU/Linux distribution for Visually-challenged: This is a GNU/Linux
distribution (beta version - 0.1.1) created specially for visually
challenged users. Visually challenged users can use it out of the box
because accessibility settings required by them are already enabled. It
is advisable to go through documentation first before installing/using
the distribution. ISO file of distribution and other related
documentation can be downloaded HERE

2. GNU/Linux distribution for Physically-challenged: 'GNU/Linux for
Physically Challenged-Beta-0.1.1' is a special distribution for
physically challenged people, so that they can easily access FOSS
desktops. It is advisable to go through documentation first before
installing/using the distribution. ISO file of distribution and other
related documentation can be downloaded HERE

3. GNU/Linux distribution for Cognitively-challenged: This GNU/Linux
distribution has been developed to provide an accessible desktop
environment to the cognitively challenged users. It is advisable to go
through documentation first before installing/using the distribution.
